Sanctions and origin verification

Post-2022, Russian-origin product moving through the straits faces sanctions exposure for buyers in EU, UK, US, Canada, Australia, and Japan jurisdictions. Verify origin documentation with extreme care — a Russian-origin cargo relabeled as "Kazakh" or "Turkish" remains sanctioned and creates personal liability for company officers.
